Want all the excitement a blockbuster film without that couch potato feeling? Come to the Highlands View Chamber Ensemble's Movie Theme Concert! Listen to remarkable young musicians recreate famous soundtrack numbers from Star Wars, Sound of Music, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Pink Panther, and more! A perfect blending of popular culture and high art. You will be awe struck, possibly thrilled, probably laugh, maybe even be moved to tears. Come see this great concert!

The Highland View Chamber Ensemble is a youth string ensemble based at the Charlestream School of Music in Cabot Vermont. Violin players comprise most of the ensemble, along with cello, upright bass, drums and piano. It includes youth and teens aged 8 to 17, as well as a handful of adults. The schools beginning ensemble will play a few songs to open for the evening, with children 5 to 11 years old, along with a few of the children's parents accompanying. The beginning ensemble includes violins and cellos.

Held at the Hardwick Townhouse , Sunday, June 30th, 3pm. Free to the public. Donations welcome. There will also be popcorn and baked goods for sale.
