Peacham photos by renowned photojournalist Clemens Kalischer will be on display at the Peacham Historical Association on July 4 and on Sundays from 2-4 throughout the summer. Kalischer, a refugee from Nazi Germany, visited Peacham in the 1950s and 60s and captured his encounters with the town and its people in a series of remarkable photographs. Many of them appeared in Vermont Life magazine in 1959 and in the Time-Life Library of America volume on New England in 1967.
Peacham's July 4th celebration includes a tractor parade at 11:30, a Ghost Walk from 2-4 (featuring some of the people in Kalischer's photos) a pig roast at the church, and much more. For a complete listing of activities click on http://www.peacham.net/fourthofjulyindex.php,
