Location: Richmond Library
Please join the Richmond Climate Action Committee, Drive Electric Vermont, Green Mountain Power, Local Motion, and the Vermont Electric Coop for an afternoon exploring electric cars & bikes. Visitors will learn about the wide variety of models available, incentive programs, charging at home and more. We'll have experts and owners available to cover the basics and answer questions about electric vehicles (EVs) in Vermont. Kids are welcome!
The expo will include:
• Free Ben & Jerry's ice cream!
• Talk to your neighbors about their electric cars on display, including the Chevrolet Bolt, Plug-in Prius, Nissan LEAF, Tesla Model 3, and more. Many cars will be available for test rides and/or drives!
• Electric bicycles on display and available for test rides (bring your helmet!)
• GMP & VT Electric Co-op representatives on hand to answer questions about incentives and charging options.
• An overview talk at 4 pm on electric vehicle ownership in Vermont, including updates on available incentives and affordable financing options
Contact the organizers at info@richmondclimateaction.net if you have questions or an electric car or bike that you'd like to display. See you Saturday!
If you can't make the event and would like to learn more, visit the non-profit Drive Electric Vermont website at www.driveelectricvt.com/ and Local Motion at https://www.localmotion.org/ebikes.
