I am organizing a Carwash on Saturday June 29th in Reading, at the Reading fire department from 10 am to 2 pm to benefit the family of Drew Kauffman. My daughter Lorelai goes to school in Reading with Drew's youngest son Sawyer. As a community in Reading we can help ease Courtney and the boy's financial burdens. Please come out and support Drew's family as they navigate life without him.

Drew Kauffman lived life to the fullest every day. Glioblastoma may have cut his life short, but he packed more adventure, fun, joy, creativity, love, laughter, and wild abandon into 44 years than most people pack into 100. Drew knew how to live, and he knew how to live without regret. He loved life and he woke up each day grateful for everything and everyone around him.

The one thing that Drew cherished more than anything in the world was the love of his life, Courtney, and his two boys, Sawyer (5) and Finley (8). When they were together Drew beamed. Drew continually put on a brave face until the very end so that the three of them would not worry about him. Even in times of discomfort, Drew would carry on so the four of them could have as much time together as a family, making memories and enjoying new adventures together.

Now our community is needed to rally around Courtney and her boys as they navigate life without Drew.

Please consider coming to the car wash and either helping out or getting your car washed. All proceeds will go straight to Courtney and her boys. Thank you so much!!
