Join the Historical Society for a talk, Beginning Genealogy by Sheila Morris on Sunday, June 30th at 2:00 PM at the
Holcomb House at 188 Main Street E.
Genealogist Sheila Morris will talk about how to find your ancestors through easily accessible research. She will discuss how to find genealogical records locally and on the Internet. She will discuss best practices for searching, how to organize results, and suggest which common mistakes to avoid. Sheila has been teaching genealogy classes for 12 years and is a member of the Vermont Genealogy Library in Colchester.
Sponsored by the Johnson Historical Society this event is free and open to all. Homemade cookies will be served. The Holcomb House is opened from 1 to 4 PM on Sunday. Information at 635-7826.
