Last Sunday, at the Grange Hall Cultural Center in Waterbury Center, I saw a live production of a play, "The Dream of the Burning Boy". The set looked so real that I thought I was back in a classroom at Harwood! The acting is excellent and the story interesting. My friend, a teacher, absolutely loved it. My feeling is that high school students and teachers will relate to it best, although I am neither and I enjoyed it. The show is 1.5 hours with no intermission. Please see the Grange Hall Cultural Center's Facebook page for details of the six remaining performances this coming weekend (June 27-29) and the following weekend (July 5-7). There is a 2:00 PM matinee on Sunday, 7/7. Please do come and support the community's new use of this wonderful old building!!
