AARP Smart Driver Class at the Winooski Senior Center

Wednesday, July 24th from 3:30-8:30pm

This AARP Smart Driver Class is a refresher course open to all drivers 50 years and older. Presented by AARP instructor, Baird Morgan. this class is aimed at bringing people up-to date on changing driving abilities, cars, roads, and laws.

The curriculum addresses the normal physical changes brought on by the aging process, how these changes can affect driving ability and then offers ways to compensate for those changes. The class will address Vermont driving regulations, many of which have changed over the years. There are no tests. Participants should bring food and drink for the 1/2 hour break.

Many insurance companies offer a discount to drivers who have completed the class.

$15 for AARP members
$20 for non-members

Register by calling the Senior Center at 655-6425. Mail a check (made out to AARP) to The Winooski Senior Center at 123 Barlow Street, Winooski VT 05404.
