On Thursday July 4th, 2019 the Shelburne United Methodist Church will be presenting the 57th annual Auction, Chicken Barbecue and White Elephant Sale. This event is a fundraiser for the church and proceeds are used for mission outreach projects supported by the church and other church expenses. The event begins at 9:00 AM with a bake sale on the church lawn, 30 Church St., Shelburne and the Bazaar and White Elephant sale in the Fellowship Hall. A live auction, hosted by charlie Barsalow begins at 10:00 Am and includes donated items from community members and local businesses. The chicken barbecue commences at 11:30 AM and continues until 1:00 PM or until all dinners have been sold. Dinner includes a half-chicken, baked beans, potato salad, Cole slaw, a watermelon slice and lemonade ($14 for adults, $8 for children). http://shelburneumc.org/.
