Foraging Basket Workshop with Penny Hewitt

Enjoy a day of basket weaving on our hillside herb farm! In this hands-on 5-hour class lead by Penny Hewitt, you will use locally-foraged ash to weave a small basket (approximately 6"x 6," with an optional leather strap) that can be used for berry picking, flower gathering, foraging, or small harvests of any kind. This class also includes a discussion of how the ash for the baskets is harvested and processed. This is a great class for ages 10 and up.
