CREDO FORMS YOUNG ADULT SOCIAL GROUP IN MANCHESTER
Three years ago, a group of local parents decided to form a non-profit called Credo for Sustainable Life to benefit the growing number of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the area. The group has been raising funds and even purchased a beautiful three-story house embracing an outstanding view of the Green Mountains.

Credo board members have organized a new social group for intellectually challenged youth ranging in age from middle schoolers to young adults which meet once a month at the Credo House at 90 Bryant Road in Manchester. The next meeting is on Monday July 1, 6:30 pm – 8:00 pm. Those attending are encouraged to bring a favorite pot luck dish with an attached recipe to share. The group will discuss what activities they would like to do at future gatherings and have a singalong, as well as fun and games. Examples for activities could include: dances, cooking classes, games night, sing-a-longs, one act plays, music, drumming, movie night. Staff supervision and refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP Joanne Beck at vtbecks@gmail.com 802-779-1819 and let us know you are coming!
