The Open Space IZ Committee is finalizing its work and is holding two public forums this week to inform the public about the methodology we have adopted in order to evaluate parcels in our city of 4 acres and above, show you how our evaluation criteria apply on a sampling of parcels, and gather input on the public's priorities for open space conservation in South Burlington.

The first public forum is this Wednesday evening, June 19, 5:30-7pm, at City Hall (Green Mountain Conference Room). Our regular meeting will follow.

If you cannot make the first public forum, we have scheduled a second forum on Saturday, June 22, 10-11:30am, at the Police Station (19 Gregory Dr., Bobby Miller Conference Room on the first floor).

More public forums will follow in the month of July as we finalize our rankings to present to the South Burlington Planning Commission and City Council.
