The fourth annual Missisquoi Paddle-Pedal is scheduled for Saturday, June 22nd in Richford, Vermont! This fun event combines 6.5 miles of paddling on the Missisquoi River and 4.5 miles of cycling back on the adjacent Missisquoi Valley Rail Trail. Check in for participants starts at 8:15 a.m at Davis Park in Richford, the safety talk is at 9:15 a.m., and the event starts at 9:30 a.m. at the same place.
Bring your family, gather a team of friends, or come by yourself—this community event is for all ages and abilities. Sign-up for a non-competitive recreational class or enter to race solo, pair, relay, or as a community team. All participants will go home with a prize! $10 boat rentals are available for advanced reservation, thanks to Montgomery Adventures.
Lunch will be for sale as part of the coinciding Richford River Fest in Davis Park from 11 am–2 pm hosted by the Richford Conservation Commission. The family-oriented celebration of the Missisquoi River includes educational activities for kids and adults alike, nature walks, music, a barbecue and a bake sale.
