A unique opportunity to experience the birds that breed on mountaintops in our region, including the rare and elusive Bicknell's Thrush. We'll ride the tram to the top of Jay Peak and spend some time birding the mountain before returning by tram to the base for breakfast at the Clubhouse Grille. Cost of the tram ride is included in fee, folks will pay for breakfast separately. Folks taking the van from St. Albans will meet at 6 am. If you'll be meeting us there, please arrive by 7:15 to make our scheduled tram ride at 7:30 am.
Registration is required for programs offered by the St. Albans Recreation Department in St. Albans, Vermont. The fee is $40 residents/$52 non-residents. Please call the Recreation Department at 524-1500 x266 to sign up for individual walks! Limit to 15 participants. We have space in the van leaving from St. Albans for 10 people. When registering please note whether you will need to ride in the van, or would like to meet the group there.
