The Huntington Historic and Community Trust and the Huntington Library present an evening of ski history on March 27 at 7 PM at the Library with a showing of Passion for Snow.

Passion for Snow is a 62-minute documentary that covers more than 100 years of New England skiing history with an emphasis on the role of Dartmouth College's influences in the development of the ski industry. The film depicts champion skiers in action, but also people like the late Surgeon General Dr. C. Everett Koop , Robert Frost , and Dr. Seuss, who were all influenced in their careers after spending winters in Hanover.

The film premiered in 2013 and we are lucky to have Huntington's own Rick Moulton, the producer of this film (which received the International Skiing History Film Award for 2013) on hand to introduce it and answer questions.
