We are launching a chapter of the Citizens’ Climate Lobby (CCL) in Burlington. We are looking for people who are eager to learn how to lobby their elected officials and work with the media on safe-climate legislation. Mary Jane Sorrentino, a CCL group-start trainer, will share the history and methodology of CCL. We’ll look at CCL’s proposed legislation, practice speaking on the issues and learn ways to work together as effective lobby teams.
