The Waitsfield-Fayston Fire Department's Annual Kids Fishing Derby is this Sunday, June 16th at Hartshorn's Pond across the road from 426 Hartshorn rd in Waitsfield. Bring your fishing poles and worms will be provided. The pond has been newly stocked! All kids 14 and under are invited to participate. This event is free. It will begin at 10:00am and will end at noon. There will be hot dogs and drinks as well as a free raffle for a fishing pole! The pond is located about a mile and a quarter North of Waitsfield village. Look for the fire truck at the end of the road and follow the road up. The event will be rain or shine. See you there!
