It is such a beautiful thing when people of different creeds, backgrounds, and orientations can gather together and worship. The United Church of Underhill, Jericho UMC, Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, and Calvary Episcopal Church are all therefore excited about continuing our annual tradition of an ecumenical July 4th worship service. Join us on Sunday, July 7th, 9:30 a.m. at United Church of Underhill for this wonderful occasion. Plus, we get to worship outside!

This year's theme is "Christ's Church: An Imperfect Union," taking the words of the constitution, "... in order to form a more perfect union..." as the launching point. How have we done in that regard? Are our churches a model of a more perfect union? Or should we simply accept that we are an imperfect union?
