Senior lunch at the Charlotte Senior Center will be served at noon on Wednesday, June 12th and will include: Taco Salad, bread, beverages, and Strawberry Rhubarb Cobbler. Please call 425-6345 for a reservation. As usual, we ask that you call for reservations (425-6345) and a $5.00 donation would be greatly appreciated. Activities at the Charlotte Senior Center are open to citizens from neighboring communities. After lunch, at 1 pm, will be the *Sun to Cheese Tour* with Sandi Detwiler.
On this 2-hour tour, we first go to the Farm Barn to watch cheddar cheese being made, taste the different Farm cheeses; visit the dairy to see cows, calves and the milking process. Learn about the history and current mission of the Farm, as well.
Some walking required. Gather at the Senior Center at 1 p.m. to carpool. Please register and pay in advance. Cost is $20 per person, payable to Shelburne Farm.

WRITERS GROUP on Fridays Starts this Friday, 6/14, meets monthly, second Fridays, 1:00-3:00.
This re-forming group is looking for writers of stories, autobiographical pieces, and poetry. At monthly meetings, writers read and discuss their pieces, and offer encouragement all around. Please register to indicate your interest. No fee.
AARP Smart Driver Class, Fri. 6/21, from 9:30 to 2:30 (with a lunch break). This classroom refresher course may enable you to receive an auto insurance discount; it provides drivers the opportunity to fine tune driving skills and become a safer and better driver. Registration necessary. Fee: $20 ($15 for AARP members).
