Lots of great history on June 12, but nothing tops 1967 when the US Supreme Court ruled Virginia could not jail Mildred and Richard Loving for getting married, in spite of the differences in their skin color. Thus, "Loving Day", an annual celebration of racial justice, the end of anti-miscegenation laws, and the power of love.
We'll be celebrating with silly old (love) songs and great food & drink this Wednesday from 630-830 PM at Pulcinella's, 100 Swift Street, South Burlington (near Small Dog). Join us!
