When it's not raining, June can be such a beautiful, sunshin-y month! But, on the flip side, there are increased activities and important responsibilities to carry out. Families, parents, teachers, students, and people in many different careers are needing to meet so many year-end deadlines, as well as get ready for various activities, celebrations (weddings, graduations, birthdays, picnics, BBQs), and confirm travel plans.
With the joy of the season, comes stress and a feeling of overwhelm with all the frenzied activities and hurrying from one event to another. There are calorie-dense foods all around us at various occasions. We want to indulge, because, hey, haven't we earned it?
This time of year can be difficult to stick to our nutrition and lifestyle goals. The additional pressures can lead to weight gain. This is why I would like to support you at this time of year and address these issues.
