"HOW CAN I KEEP FROM SINGING?" WORKSHOP

WHEN: Saturday, March 22 from 10AM to 12PM (you can also stay to eat your bag lunch if you wish).

WHERE: The workshop will be held at Calvary Episcopal Church on Rt. 15 in Underhill Flats.

WHAT: ALL INVITED!! Stephen Whiteley and the Rev. Dr. Regina Christianson will be offering a workshop on group singing. They will be using worship music from France (Taize), Scotland (Iona), and Africa, as well as Early America hymn tunes and a round or two. If you have heard this music, you know it is both easy and meaningful and that it builds community.

Stephen and Regina have taught and encouraged group singing, from children to adults, from untrained volunteers choirs to professional performers, all brought together for the joy of music. All ages are welcome. No experience or musical training necessary. Having trouble matching pitch is no problem (We have tricks that may help!). This is a free offering to the community; all are welcome to participate.

The workshop is co-sponsored by Calvary Episcopal Church and the United Church of Underhill. “The one who sings prays twice!”
