Live at the Barrage - Soul / Rock & Roll

Past event
Jun 9, 2019, 7 to 10 PM

As the sun rounds out it's journey to the longest day of the year, let's round out the weekend with an amazing evening of tremendous music.

Aubrey Haddard - Lately Aubrey has been performing at Waking Windows, opening for the Felice Brothers and The Suitcase Junket, touring in France and more recently receiving the Boston Music Award for both Singer-Songwriter and Vocalist of the year. Aubrey has been garnering a lot of praise the past year with her music that "feels like you've been washed over with nothing but pure sunshine" (DigBoston). Her alternative soul sound will be an inspiration for fans of Van Morrison, Bonnie Raitt, Susan Tedeschi or Jeff Buckley.

Jesse Taylor - Highly introspective, Jesse Taylor pours her heart into each lyric into all her songs like. Hailing from Maine, Jesse moved to Burlington to pursue music, drawing inspiration from long days at the bakery and life with anxiety. Taking notes from artists like Ingrid Michaelson, Regina Spektor, and Courtney Barnett, Jesse writes songs that mirror their passionate vocals and unapologetic style mixing musical influences throughout her work.
