"The Cooking Cockroach" Benefits Montpelier Food Pantry

You don't want to miss author Joey Truman, "The Cooking Cockroach" as he whips up delicious free samples, tells stories from his book about cooking well in poverty, all while raising awareness about hunger and The Montpelier Food Pantry.
11am-1pm Hunger Mountain Co-op - Breakfast Burritos; 2pm-4pm Bear Pond Books-BLTs and The Garage Cultural Center 5pm-7pm Bean/Corn Tortillas; complimentary wine and beer at the Garage. "The Cooking Cockroach" book for sale at all events. These events are free and open to the public. There is a $1,000 challenge match. If you donate to the Food Pantry at any of these events and we raise $1,000, Connor Contracting and Coldwell Banker Classic Properties will match. If you 'Round Up' at Hunger Mountain Co-op cash registers today all round up cash goes to the Food Pantry!
