RC Sailing
Two regattas back to back. At the Commodore Inn on Rte 100 on its pond. View from the comfortable porch in back. Races run from 9:30 till 3:30. Each race takes about 15 minutes and heats will run all day.
June 6 & 7: J boat class. Models of the classic America's Cup Racers of the 30's. Big boats and very gracious. Controlled by radio. No motors, just the wind.
June 8 & 9: East Coast 12 meter. Models of the more recent class of America's Cup contenders, before the current catamarans. This class has two radio channels; one for the rudder to steer and one to control the sails.
Come over and enjoy watching skippers from all over the East Coast and Canada compete.
