After being rained off last week, we'll try again Tuesday June 4th - Explore the Andrews Community Forest with Bolton/Richmond/Huntington Senior Center. Meet at 9:00 AM at Volunteers Green and carpool to parking area across from Maple Wind Farm. We'll follow several logging and farm roads and a section of the VAST trail (some steep climbs - quite strenuous) up this south facing hillside with views of Cochrans' ski area, Camel's Hump, etc. About 2-3 hours of hiking. There will be some wet spots - good footwear required, bring water, hat, extra clothing layer including a waterproof jacket, snack. Walking poles, camera, etc. as desired.
