Have you been hearing about "Flexible Pathways" or "Work Based Learning?" Do you wonder what this is? If you would like to learn more, come join us for:
Harwood's Second Annual Community Pathways Showcase and Celebration
Monday, June 3rd from 6:00 - 8:00
Harwood Union Library
Refreshments will be provided
Who should attend?
Everyone is Welcome!
***Middle and high school students and parents who are curious about how internships, independent studies, dual enrollment and employment can fit into their high school plan
***Business and community representatives who want to learn more about partnering with students
***Educators and policymakers interested in exploring models of Flexible Pathway partnerships
Hear about the experiences Harwood Students and their community partners. You will learn about internships and independent studies. We will explore the connection students are making with the Harwood Graduate Expectations; connecting "real world" learning with content proficiencies. You will have an opportunity to speak with our presenters to learn more about their experiences as well as to connect with Harwood educators who are here to support these opportunities.
