Driveway Art & Collectibles Fundraiser

Past event
Jun 1, 2019, 9 AM to 12 PM

Looking for some great art or collectibles? Come by 252 Central St. tomorrow between 9 am and noon. We have a great assortment of generous and lovely donations! We will have them all on display in the driveway viewing.

They include photos from local artist Linda Hogan, reiki sessions from Owl Moon Reiki, photos from amateur photographers, upcycled journals, acrylic and block prints from talented high school artists. There are also hand knit items by Diana Weggler, hand-made earrings from Home Crafts and collectible items from Shutterfly.

Great gifts for yourself or others!

We are raising money for my child, Gräe, to compete at National History Day. Gräe is a senior about to graduate from U32. In April Gräe competed at Vermont History day and won the Senior Exhibition category which qualified them to complete in and attend National History Day. This is held at the University of Maryland in College Park, Maryland June 9-13. Additionally Gräe's exhibition, "The Tragic Triumph of Magnus Hirshfeld," was chosen to represent the state in an all day exhibition for National History Day that is at the National Museum of American History on June 12. We were also given the opportunity to apply for some 'extra' experiences and were awarded two passes to the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in DC and an opportunity participate in a Peace Trail program organized by the U.S. Institute of Peace.

Our approximate costs for the trip are about $1500. Gräe and I are so thankful for funds we have received so far that have covered our room and board at the University of Maryland as well as Gräe's registration ($932). With a week to go until we leave, we are looking for some help with transportation costs.

If you cannot come, but are interested in knowing more about the items, please be in contact!
