Hi Everyone,

I just wanted to update the community on an exciting event. I have been working with a group of students at NMHS who call themselves the 'Green Team". They have a crazy idea that somehow they can help save the planet. They entered into Vermont's "Whole School Energy Challenge" . So far they have saved 3% of the energy usage for the school; their goal is to save 10% for this year. I am betting they will do it!
They want to take their work out to the community. So they have created an event called "Green Living Fun Living" . The goal is to show people that green living is really important but, it is also really fun! Please join us at NMHS on April 17th for the Green Living Fun Living Night. The event will include the following:
* Pasta dinner - $5 a person, $20 for a family.
* Save $850 that night. ( because we have a very successful Green Team; we have cards from the State of Vermont that will provide people with a special energy tool kit that will allow you to save up to $850 a year on household energy usage.
* Over 20 vendors who will provide the most up to date resources on recycling, composting, solar power and other fun green living.

I will be unable to respond to you directly because this is a student lead event. However, I will turn your information over to one of my student/colleagues who will be more than capable of connecting you with this event.
