The Newfane Garden Club will hold its annual Plant and Bake Sale this Saturday May 25 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon on the Newfane Common. The sale's profits go to the club's scholarship fund, which for the past several years has funded an award to a student from Leland and Gray High School who intends to specialize in horticulture, environmental studies or a related field.

The sale includes an excellent selection of perennials and annuals in pots and flats, garden accessories and books donated by members of the club. Gardening experts will be on hand to give free horticultural tips and talk dirt!

Munch on some delicious sweets from the baked goods table and buy some to take home for later.

The sale includes a raffle of gift certificates to the Fat Crow and the Four Columns. See you there!
