Our group of passionate writers includes those who have been published, those who want to try their craft, those who write for a living (i.e. in their day job), retirees working on a novel or short story, essayists, memoirists, and poets. Our gatherings are a time and space to share our work without judgment, yet receive helpful criticism and ideas. ("Wertfrei" comes from the German "Wertfreiheit" meaning non-judgmental or value free.) We are all in this together to learn and grow with and from each other. Our next gathering is Saturday, May 25th in the Sal room of the Waterbury Library from 10-noon. Bring 3-5 pages of work to share with others. Newcomers always welcome.
