Join us at Westfield's Hitchcock Museum and Library for an adult pottery series beginning on Tuesday, May 28th and continuing the next two Tuesdays, June 4th and June 11th, from 5-7 p.m.
Instructor Tanya Pappalardo will guide us through a project beginning with a ball of clay and ending in a beautiful one-of-a-kind creation. After the projects have their first kiln firing they will be painted and glazed. After the second class the pieces will be fired again creating the finished project. Everyone will leave with a beautiful piece of completed pottery.
If you prefer you can work on a paint-a-bisque project (pre-made mugs or dishes which have been fired once). There is a small fee per project to cover the materials.
No experience working with clay is necessary. Just bring your creative spirit and you'll have lots of fun with this activity!
