Some background in case you are unfamiliar with "Fawlty Towers." The one-act play is based on the most celebrated British TV sit-com ever. Created by John Cleese (of Monty Python fame) and Connie Booth, Fawlty Towers is the best-loved bad hotel in the world. PA High School drama students bring to life the snobbish, manic hotel manager Basil; his over- domineering wife, Sybil; the hopeless but ever-hopeful waiter Manuel; the calm and capable chambermaid Polly – and a steady stream of abused guests. Two episodes of the popular BBC comedy come to life with clever casting and the direction of David Gabaree. British humor, physical comedy, cheering on an amazing group of high school actors - what's not to like?! Hope to see you there.
