Geranium Festival, Book Sale, and Silent Auction

It promises to be a beautiful day for our Annual Geranium Festival, Book Sale, and Silent Auction to support library programs and acquisitions, Saturday, May 18, 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Please join us at the Dummerston Community Center, 150 West Street. Follow the blue library signs on Route 30. We value your support.

Early Bird book sale preview is 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., for a suggested donation of $20.00

Enjoy hamburgers and hotdogs from the grill and gelato from the Vermont Gelato Company.

Bring the kids and take a "Story Walk" on the lawn.

Choose from a colorful selection of geraniums provided by Walker Farms.

Looking for a bread maker? A garden hose? A weekend getaway? Browse the Silent Auction and bid on more than 50 items such as works by local artists and writers including Natalie Blake Studios, Lisa Blake Pottery, Linda Nelson, Tom Bodett, Lynn Levine, gift certificates to area businesses including Linden Gardens, Everyone's Books, Brattleboro Acupuncture, Patch of Diamonds Ranch, Jeff's Basement, Side Hill Farm, and Landmark Trust, restaurants including Four Columns Inn, Flamingo Diner, Chelsea Royal Diner, and Panda North, local attractions including The Retreat Farm and Brattleboro Museum and Art Center, music lessons, professional résumé coaching, jewelry, framed art, and more. For the kids, we have Star Wars books, games, and puzzles and a Melissa & Doug Deluxe Puppet theater.

The Silent Auction runs from May 18 to June 1 in the library. You do not need to be present to win.
