Grow Your Own will host a workshop on how to grow tomatoes and container gardening on Saturday afternoon, June 1, at Atkins Field in Hardwick from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Hardwick Community Garden Manager Helena Carleton and Ruby Baker, one of the founders of Grow Your Own, will co-teach. All participants will take home a tomato plant and a self-watering container set-up. Grow Your Own workshops are free but space is limited. Signing up in advance is required by May 29. Grow Your Own is a project of the Hardwick Area Food Pantry, the Center for an Agricultural Economy and NEK Kids on the Move (Wonder Arts).
