Join the Central Vermont Solid Waste Management District for a free presentation about safe(r) cleaning - how to recognize and avoid toxic, harmful cleaning products, and what to replace them with. Everyone who participates goes home with a free green cleaning starter kit and guidebook and a couple of non-toxic body product samples.

We'll make a simple green cleaner to take home as well.
At this workshop you'll learn:
- how toxic products affect health
- how to identify toxic (and non-toxic) cleaning products
- how to dispose of toxic and hazardous materials
- recognize safer alterantives.

The workshop is at the Barre Housing Authority's North Barre Manor, at 455 North Main Street in Barre City, from 11 am - 12:00 pm
