Craftsbury Library Barn Dance Saturday

Past event
May 18, 2019, 6 PM

On May 18, 2019, the Craftsbury Chamber Players and the Craftsbury Public Library are hosting an old-fashioned barn dance at Dave Rowell's big yellow barn at 42 Whetstone Brook Road in East Craftsbury. The fun starts at 6 p.m., with music starting at 7 p.m. and lasting until 10 p.m.

Now in its third year, this event has quickly become known as the harbinger event for summer fun. The dance will feature music by The Starline Rhythm Boys. The Craftsbury General Store and Caja Madera will provide food, and craft beer and cocktails will be offered by Blackbird Bar. Lost Nation Brewery, Vermont Wine Merchants, Blackbird Bar, Caledonia Spirits, and Green Mountain Distillers are all providing support for this fundraiser.

Special this year is an auction for a loaded 1996 Kawaski Vulcan 1500 Classic motorcycle. The motorcycle comes with new saddle bags and liners and removable windshield. Minimum bid is $4,000, and all funds raised beyond the minimum will be split between the Craftsbury Public Library and the Craftsbury Chamber Players.

The night will also feature a silent auction which will raise funds to help the Craftsbury Chamber Players and the Craftsbury Public Library serve our community's minds and spirits. Bring the family for an evening of great music, great food, auction fun, and in support of two wonderful local organizations. Suggested donation is $10 to attend, with children 12 and under free.
