Sunrise Farm in Guilford is proud to host the Guilford Gravel Grinder on May 19, 2019. This 40 mile bicycle race will start at 9:30 am, and will include about 125 participants. The roads in Marlboro where the race will take place will be Ames Hill Road, Cowpath 40, Thomas Hill, Lucier Road, South Road and Moss Hollow.

Expect to see road signs that have the "545 Velo" logo on them and directional arrows from the afternoon of Saturday May 18th through the afternoon of Sunday May 19th. Also, there may be a few signs that are orange with the word "caution" to show the riders a danger in the road like a pot hole. Within Marlboro, we plan to have a marshall at the corner of Lucier and South Road to briefly slow traffic to allow a rider through. By the time the riders are in the town of Marlboro, they will most likely be in small groups of 5 or less. If you have dogs that like to chase cyclists, please consider having them inside from about 10:00am to 11:00am on Sunday, May 19th. All riders will adhere to the rules of the road - which means they will stay to the right at all times. Every cyclist in the race will have a number on the right side of their jersey. There will be a lead vehicle in front of the leader of the race at all times and a follow pick up truck that will follow the last rider on course.
