Sunrise Farm is proud to host the Guilford Gravel Grinder on May 19th. This 40 mile bicycle race will start at 9:30 am, and will include 125-150 participants. The roads in Guilford where the race will take place will be Thomas, Hinesburg, Briggs, Lee, Bonnyvale before heading into Brattleboro and then Hale Road and Thomas Hill before going into Marlboro and Halifax and then back into Guilford on Deer Park, Hinesburg, Green River Road, Stage Road, Guilford Center Road, Carpenter Hill, Barney, Bonnyvale, Lee, Briggs and finally Thomas.

Expect to see road signs that have the "545 Velo" logo on them and directional arrows. Within Guilford, we plan to have marshalls at the intersections on Thomas and Hinesburg, Hale and Thomas Hill, Guilford Center and Carpenter Hill and finally again at Hinesburg and Thomas. If you have dogs that like to chase cyclists, please consider having them inside from about 9:30am to 12:30pm on Sunday, May 19th. All riders will adhere to the rules of the road - which means they will stay to the right at all times. Every cyclist in the race will have a number on the right side of their jersey. There will be a lead vehicle in front of the leader of the race at all times and a follow pick up truck that will follow the last rider on course.
