VALLEY LIONS CLUB GENERAL MEMBERSHIP & BUSINESS MEETING
Your invited to the monthly general membership & business meeting open to the public to be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at 7 pm at the Newbrook Fire Department. Meetings are held the 2nd Tuesday from September to June at 7 pm at the Newbrook Fire Department.

We will be holding a general business meeting, all members & guests are invited to attend. We have no guest speaker planned for this meeting.

MEMBERSHIP DRIVE IN JUNE - FREE YEARLY DUES 1ST YEAR
Our Club will be hosting a membership drive in June 2019 "50 Members for 50 Years" is our slogan in honor of our club's past fifty years of "WE SERVE" service to the West River Valley towns of Brookline, Newfane, Townshend, Jamaica and Wardsboro. Our goal is to increase membership to continue the services we provide and can offer to our communities towns for another 50 years! To learn more, please send an email to valleylions1969@gmail.com.

LELAND & GRAY SCHOLARSHIP FUND OFFERED - Due by Saturday, May 18
Our Annual LeLand & Grey Graduating Senior Higher Education Scholarship Program applications are at L&G Guidance Counselor's office and need to be returned by Saturday, May 18, 2019. All applications need to be mailed to: Valley Lions Club, PO Box 153, Newfane, VT 05345. We will be selecting the top three applicants to provide them with $2,000 Scholarship.

JUNE 11TH GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING - GUEST BEATRICE BIRCH
Next month, at our Tuesday, June 11th, General Membership meeting, our guest will be Beatrice Birch, Founder of Inner Fire in Brookline, Vermont. Inner Fire is a proactive healing community offering a choice for adults to recover from debilitating and traumatic life challenges without the use of psychotropic medications.
