Making Essential Oils and Hydrosols from Local Plants

Windham Regional Woodlands Association is sponsoring a program about a unique type of forestry products. Herbalist Santalena Groves, founder of local company Heart Grown Wild, LLC will demonstrate the process of extracting essential oils through distillation and the use of these potent extractions in making herbal products. The program will also include a short foraging walk in nearby woodlands to identify local wild harvestable plants.
