Islands in the Sun in Alburgh is pleased to announce that the Teddy Bear making class is starting again on Tuesday, on May 21st. Anyone with a basic knowledge of using a needle and thread is welcome. There is a $15 material fee that pays for everything you need to make your own special bear. Some of the previous attendees liked it so much that they continued to make bears even after their personal needs were met. Last summer bears were donated to several organizations who deal with children in stressful situations. Sometimes it takes a huggable bear to bring a smile to a sad or frightened face.

So whether you want to make a bear for yourself or a special member of your family or you choose to donate it, please come and join a wonderful group. The classes are held on Tuesdays starting at 10 AM. Hope to see you there.
