Wildflower and Bird Hikes - May 11 and May 14

Join Slate Valley Trails for an Upcoming Bird & Wildflower Hike!

Two Options:
- Saturday, May 11 - 7:30am – 12:00pm and
- Tuesday, May 14 - 7:30 – 11:00am

On Saturday May 11th, join Slate Valley Trails member Joel for a birding and wildflower hike on the Howe Hill trails in East Poultney. The hike is about 3 miles on moderate terrain (about 500 feet elevation gain). It will be at a slow pace with lots of opportunities for observing & photographing spring warblers and wildflowers (and black flies). We'll meet at 7:30 am at the E Poultney Green. Limit 10 people. Bring bug spray, water and snack.

On Tuesday May 14th - if you missed Joel's nature hike on Saturday May 11th, you have another opportunity to join him for this birding and wildflower outing at the Fairgrounds West Trails. The hike will be about 3 miles on easy terrain. It will be at a slow pace with lots of opportunities for observing & photographing spring warblers and wildflowers (and black flies). Meet at 7:30 am at the E Poultney Green. Limit 10 people. Bring bug spray, water and snack.
