There will be a peaceful gathering in Middlebury on Monday, May 13th at 5:30 pm. We will meet at the west end (near the traffic circle) of the Cross St. bridge. Some or all may then walk with their signs to the ACSD Board meeting at Mary Hogan School which officially begins at 6:30pm (though we aim to arrive about 6:00 so as to be in place outside as board members arrive).

There is an opportunity for public comment at the beginning of every board meeting. This would be a good time to share your thoughts, ideas, concerns, and comments about the potential closure of one or more schools in our district. Please note that the Board will not be answering questions or engaging in conversation with us about our comments, but the minutes will reflect what is said during this time.

This is not just a "Ripton thing." We not only welcome but strongly encourage participation from community members in ALL SEVEN of the ACSD towns.
