Coming up Thursday on Goddard College Community Radio - a collection of stories around gardens and raising food, including community gardens and Vandana Shiva's talk Monday at the Vermont State House.
9:00 - 10:00 am
The snow is gone from our garden plots, and the frost is almost behind us. We'll hear a wide variety of stories about gardening and raising food. International food activist Vandana Shiva spoke this past Monday at the State House on "Poison Free Food & Farming;" we'll hear some of her talk. We'll learn about a series of workshops about community gardens—and new models for community gardens—from Libby Weiland of the Vermont Community Garden Network and Maire Folan from Green Mountain Farm to School.
Plus more on soil and gardens!
10:00 - 10:30 am
Resilience Thoughts, a locally told Extempo story, plus upcoming events related to energy, food, and the local economy at the end of the age of oil.
