The Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity affiliate is hosting a Homeownership Information Session at Saint Mark's Parish (1251 North Ave in Burlington) this Thursday, May 9th from 6:30-8:30PM. Homeownership applications are now open for two, 2 Bedroom/1 Bath affordable, zero-energy modular homes that will be located in the North Avenue Co-Op. Solar panels will power all the lights and appliances, efficient heat pumps will do the same for heating and cooling - these homes are designed for no heating or electric costs. Join us if you have questions regarding homeownership qualifications, need help filling out an application, or have general program questions. Feel free to bring along friends, or invite anyone who may be interested in an affordable homeownership opportunity.
