Green Mountain Habitat for Humanity is hosting a Home Ownership Information Session at St. Mark's Parish (1251 North Ave., Burlington) Thursday, May 9 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Homeownership applications are available for two, 2-bedroom/1 bath affordable, zero-energy modular homes to be built in the North Avenue Co-Op. Solar panels for lights and appliances and efficient heat pumps for both heating and cooling will a part of the project -- meaning no heating or cooling costs for these homes. The meetings will address the requirements for HFH home ownership, and the speakers can help you complete applications. Bring your friends.

Green Mountain Habitat's ReStore on Rte. 2A in Williston is currently hiring a Donations and Receiving Manager and a Warehouse Associate. Visit JGoldhammer@vermonthabitat.org to apply or to register as a volunteer. If you're interested in cleaning out your home this summer, call (802) 857-5296 to schedule a free pick up of donations to Habitat.
