Past event
May 11, 2019, 8:30 to 11:30 AM

The second annual Lake Champlain Maritime Museum 5k/10k and Half Marathon is this Saturday, May 11. Racers raved about the course which begins at Basin Harbor and goes out in a loop through beautiful farmlands of Panton and Ferrisburg with some lake views and gorgeous mountain views along the way. This year, you can choose between the half marathon, or the new 5K/10K.

The half marathon course is absolutely gorgeous and rolling. Where there is an elevation gain, you're going to LOVE the long gentle down hills! Half Marathoners will be on roads of Button Bay, Panton, and Basin Harbor 8:30am-11:30am.

The 5K/10K is also rolling with no major hills to worry about. In fact, many racers posted personal best times on this course during another race last year. The 5K/10K is limited to the grounds of Basin Harbor, but the course is also beautiful – running along the lake, the harbor, into the woods, and along the golf course..

Once again, this race will benefit the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum. A portion of your entry fee goes to the Education for All fund for scholarships providing access for all to LCMM's wonderful education programs! Optional donations and/or fundraising are also encouraged.

Volunteers Needed!! Please consider volunteering for the LCMM event 8:00-11:30. Road Marshals or Water Station Attendants needed!! Please call or text Rayne Herzog, RaceDirector, 802-316-7142.
