Hi neighbors!
American Flatbread is once again generously hosting a benefit bake for the Old North End Farmers Market tomorrow. That's Tuesday, May 7, from 5:00 pm 11:30 pm. Come feed yourself for a great cause!!! A portion of the sales of each flatbread (including takeout!) will support the operating costs of the market. The ONE Market helps provide access to fresh, affordable and local food to our community. In 2018, 25% of market sales were paid for by SNAP benefits or other alternative currencies such Harvest Health Coupons and Farm to Family coupons.
This year the market will be starting up on June 4, running every Tuesday from 3:00 to 6:30. It's in Dewey Park--the triangular park across from IAA at the intersection of Archibald, Elmwood, Walnut and Spring Streets. Come visit to find affordable, fresh produce and prepared foods and bread from locally sourced ingredients. And it goes without saying that the market is a great place to see your neighbors and visit with your farmers.
Thank you for supporting the market!
