The League of Women Voters and Kellogg-Hubbard Library invite you to the final presentation of its Constitutional Crisis? Speaker Series , Single Issue Politics.

Single-issue Voter describe s people who make voting decisions based on candidates' stance on a single issue . Fossil Fuels . Abortion . Immigration . Guns.

What is the impact of single-issue politics? Do activists choose our candidates? Professor Robert Boatright, Chair of Political Science at Clark University and Director of Research at the National Institute for Civil Discourse, will share his research on the role of issue groups and identity-based groups in the past congressional election.

Dr. Boatright has published books and articles on campaign finance reform, congressional redistricting, the congressional budget process, and on various aspects of jury service.

The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization that encourages informed and active participation in government.
