Please join us as we share our concern with a peaceful protest about the upcoming decision coming in July to close/consolidate small schools in ACSD. Their votes will decide the future of small schools within ACSD including Mary Hogan, Bridport, Shoreham, Salisbury, Ripton, Cornwall and Weybridge. We will join at the bridge near the library at 5:30. We will carry signs voicing our thoughts and concerns (many made by our children) as we walk from the library across the bridge to Mary Hogan Elementary where the monthly school board meeting will be held at 6:30pm. These board members represent EVERY school in the district. We encourage participation from ALL small school community members that are concerned about these decisions being made as they will effect our communities for years to come. We have extra signs to share and believe in the power of numbers to share our message. We know it's last minute, but come if you can! Hope to see you there!
